I’m a Newton Wine Club member, how do I get my member discount online?

If you did not set up a username and password when you joined Newton Wine Club, visit www.newtonvineyard.com and clink Log In and then click “Forgot your username or password.” Enter your email address and click on submit. A link to reset your password will be sent to you. After resetting your password and successfully logging in as a club member, a 20% discount will be applied to your purchases and will appear at checkout.

What discounts do I receive as a Newton Wine Club member?

Newton Wine Club members receive multiple benefits, including the following savings:

20% off Newton wine and merchandise purchased at the winery or newtonvineyard.com
30% off reorders of wines included in releases; Connoiseur bottles not included.

What is the average Newton Wine Club release price?

Club releases vary depending upon the type of club you have selected, the number of bottles or specific wines in the release. Typical releases range from $840-$1040 for platinum members, $420-$520 for gold members, $210-$260 for silver members and Connoisseur members additionally receive one bottle of library wine for $95-$150 per shipment. Tax and shipping are applicable depending on the order.

What are the shipping fees for Newton Wine Club releases?

Rates are subject to change, but currently club release shipping rates are as follows. We ship via UPS Ground to green states, UPS Temperature Control to blue states, and UPS 2nd Day Air to yellow states, unless otherwise requested:

I just joined Newton Wine Club, when will I receive my first wine release?

Newton Wine Club releases are sent in March, May, September and November. After joining Newton Wine Club we will make every effort to send you the next scheduled shipment.

Can I switch my membership type?

Yes. Please contact a Newton Wine Club representative at 707-204-7410 to do so.

Can I customize my wine club release?

Prior to each Newton Wine Club release, we will contact you via email to provide you with the selection of wines included in your release. You may add to or change wines in your release at that time.

I have been charged for a release, when will I receive my wine?

We usually charge your credit card on a Tuesday and ship the wines the following Monday. For most of the West Coast, wine releases are delivered 1 to 2 days later. For East Coast addresses, wine releases are delivered 5 to 10 business days. When your release is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Can I have Newton Wine Club releases delivered to home or work?

Although you may ship to a home address, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address where someone 21 years or older is available to sign for the package upon delivery. We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO FPO addresses.

I wasn’t home to sign for my wine delivery, how do I get my shipment?

If you have missed a single delivery attempt, call the carrier (use the number listed on the tag left for you). Typically there are multiple options available, including scheduling another delivery, redirecting the shipment to a business address, or picking up your wines at the carrier’s location.

Three delivery attempts will be made before the package is returned. Please contact wineclub@newtonvineyard.com to reship your package.

Why can’t UPS/Fed Ex leave my wine shipment on my doorstep?

The federal government requires that someone 21 or older, with a government-issued identification, be present to sign for any package containing alcohol.

How is my wine shipment protected during extreme weather?

We have found that most temperature damage occurs when shipments exposed to extreme temperatures in a truck in transit over the weekend.

To avoid this in areas that regularly experience extreme weather (hot or cold) we ship from our warehouse to a hub closest to your delivery address in a temperature controlled truck. The shipment is then transferred to a local delivery truck and delivered within a day.

We occasionally may hold wine shipments due to extreme weather along the delivery route. You will be notified via email if there is a weather hold.

If you feel that you have received a damaged bottle due to extreme weather, please do not hesitate to contact us at wineclub@newtonvineyard.com for a replacement bottle.

Why can’t you ship to my state?

State laws regulate the direct shipment of wine. Some states prevent wineries from shipping directly to consumers. Learn more about these restrictions at freethegrapes.org.

Join our mailing list and we’ll notify you if there are any changes in your state’s shipping laws.

How do I update my address or credit card information?

Please call 707-204-7410 or email wineclub@newtonvineyard.com to update your member information.

Can I skip or postpone a club release?

Yes. To do so, please contact us 707-204-7410 to arrange for an alternative shipment delivery date or if you wish to skip a release altogether. Your request must be received at least 14 days prior to the release date. To retain your Newton Wine Club membership you must accept at least 3 club shipments a year.

How long does a Newton Wine Club membership last?

Membership is ongoing and may be cancelled at any time after receiving your second Newton Wine Club shipment and with a 15-day notice. Please note that if a shipment is scheduled within 15 days of cancellation, you will be charged and final wine selections will be shipped as scheduled.

How do I cancel my Newton Wine Club membership?

While we hope that you will never have cause to cancel your membership, if you do choose to cancel, simply call us at 707-204-7410 or send an email to

wineclub@newtonvineyard.com.

What are the Newton shipping policies?

All orders (including Next Day, Overnight and 2-day delivery) received no later than 5:00pm (PST) will require 1 full business day for processing and packing before being shipped. Orders received after 5:00pm (PST) will require 2 full business days for processing and packing.

Standard delivery time is 5 to 10 business days, depending on weather.*

We ship via UPS and Fed Ex and offer 1-day, 2-day and ground shipping. Ice packs are not included unless requested.

Please note that orders are shipped and delivered on business days only (this excludes weekends and holidays).

Someone over the age of 21 must be present to sign for any packages containing alcohol (mandated by federal law).

Three delivery attempts will be made before the package is returned to us.

Once returned, a $10 rerouting fee will be charged for all packages reshipped. To avoid this inconvenience, we recommend delivery to a commercially zoned business address.

We cannot ship to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes. We cannot ship internationally.
