A Tasting Installation

Inspired by Newton Vineyard
and built with 100% reclaimed materials
Using reclaimed oak from a 300 year old
wine merchant from Bristol as well as previously
used Newton Vineyard barrels, emerging artist
Claire Danthois created this Tasting Bar to embody
the winery’s Nature by Design philosophy. All
aspects of Newton reflect a unique and artistic
interaction with nature.
This custom-designed piece
was produced with the same
guiding philosophy as the wine it showcases;
meticulously crafted to create a unique expression
of purity. Danthois gained inspiration from
Newton's terraced vineyards and natural
wines during her visit to the winery in
September 2008.
